Anne Niepold presents the audience with a very personal vision of a universe in which musette and swing, jazz and her own compositions not only coexist but form a symbiosis. As a completely fascinating phenomenon. She doesn't shy away from anything on her diatonic accordion - she doesn't know boundaries. On the contrary:

With her project "Musette is not dead" in 2014, she reconciled the nostalgics of the dance halls, the lovers of the diatonic accordion and the aficionados of jazz.

Now she sets off on new adventures with her 'favourite rhythm section' - Hendrik Vanattenhoven (double bass) and Etienne Plumer (drums) - in the Anne Niepold trio.

A very own instrumentarium, an innovative and delicate balance of timbres and intensities. Part rock'n'roll part minimalistic - and always powerfully surprising.
