Almost tradition: The master of the jazz accordion himself - Richard Galliano - opened the first akkordeon akut! 2010 (solo). For the fifth edition he played with the Staatskapelle Halle and now for the 10th anniversary he comes with his formation mare nostrum - with Jan Lundgren. Already the third release of the highly awarded project, on the first place of the jazz charts, is internationally highly acclaimed.
What immediately fascinates every listener is the natural thread of conversation that these virtuosos spontaneously unfold in their obvious affinity of soul and spirit. Moreover, it is the strength of an equal community: everyone contributes their own compositions and a favourite piece for interpretation. It is almost always possible to hear from where and by whom a piece comes, and yet it is translated into a universal language that can be understood and felt by everyone.
